If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase of supplies or gardenware, you can return your item within 30 days for a full refund. If your return is past 30 days, we will be more than happy to issue a store credit for the value of the item.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee plant survivability over the winter, due to extremely fluctuating winter and spring weather conditions. However, with proven plant care, we will guarantee a plant through the growing season. If the plant does not survive, and meets the conditions listed below, we will replace it with an equal or similar item. The plant must be returned to Hanson's for this guarantee.
Survivability of plants is GUARANTEED under the following conditions:
We are satisfied that prudent care was provided (i.e. planted in a timely manner, watered adequately, protected from damage)
It can be demonstrated that a means of regular watering was available, but the plant was not overwatered
The planting location was appropriate for the plant selected
The loss was not due to deer, rabbit, insects, acts of nature or similar damage beyond our control
The guarantee period includes the current growing season up to October 1st.
The guarantee allows for, at your choice, one of the following remedies:
Replacement with the same type plant, if available
Deduction of the price paid off a similar plant
Refund of the original price within 30 days or store credit after 30 days
Dead plants must be uprooted and returned to us by October 1st of the year planted, with original tag attached and presentation of a receipt
We usually need advanced notice for any annual or perennial you would like requested, since we grow our own. We order our babies months before we get them growing in our greenhouses, so if you would like to see a certain plant next year tell us in the spring! We can usually get special trees and shrubs in within a few weeks of ordering.
We will try our best to get in any item requested by our customers. You can work with us to select the item you want from our many suppliers. Pre-payment is usually required for special orders.
Design Services: We are glad to help customers select the right plants for small projects like perennial beds or potted window boxes, planters, etc. Bring in a photo(s) and information on sun exposure and soil type and we can help you in-store.
If you require more attention for a larger project or a lakeshore restoration project, we ask that you call ahead and make an appointment. For these projects, certain consultation fees may apply. Call for more information.
We keep our customer's information private and for our use only. We will not share any information to 3rd parties.
We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover cards. We will accept checks; when accompanied by a driver's license, phone number and address. Checks should be written for the exact amount only. NSF checks will be assessed a $30.00 return fee.
